Rose Manteghian is an Armenian/American artist from the Philadelphia area. She began drawing at the age of two, and is multi-talented in the art field. She majored in Commercial/Fine Arts at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA, studied Studio Art at Villanova University, and has a Paralegal Degree from the American Center for Technical Arts & Sciences d.b.a. Main Line Paralegal Institute in Wayne, PA. While in college, Rose was also a private art tutor, teaching drawing to an eight year old child.

Her artistic talent is a gift she was born with. Knowing she had this talent, Rose started making greeting cards, painting designs on jackets, then designing and wearing her own line of costume jewelry. Family and friends took notice of how creative she was.

In 1991, while working full-time, Rose started her own art business. For most of the 1990's, she sold her artwork at many arts and craft shows, art exhibitions, stores, plus did commission art. Her style ranges from punk rock to Armenian heritage, and almost anything her creativity allows her to do. All of Rose's artwork is handmade, one-of-a-kind and very detail oriented.

One of her first major projects was an album cover she designed in 1995, for a local Philadelphia area rock group, "Slacker". However, her favorite works of art were done in 2002, when she made individual sculptures of the multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning Armenian/American rock group, "System of A Down", and gave them to each band member as gifts. She also made additional sculptures, paintings and jacket designs, which were featured on the band's official website.

Since then, Rose has made artwork for other celebrities including Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters & Cher. She was also featured in the May 3, 2003 issue of the worldwide distributed Armenian Weekly Newspaper, for the Philadelphia Armenian artists exhibition held in April 2003. In 2008, she created her first children's coloring book, titled "Armenian Heritage Coloring Book.

Rose continues running her own art business that she started in 1991, creating and selling her own unique works of art. Everything from drawings, paintings, sculptures, costume jewelry, fashion, greeting cards, album covers, cartoons, ornaments, gifts, celebrity artwork and much more! She continues participating in craft shows, art exhibitions, teaching arts and crafts and doing commission work. Rose has also donated many pieces of her artwork to various fundraising events.
